Job summary

Maaez Delights in Kota Bharu is seeking a friendly and disciplined Sales Assistant to join our outlet's team. You will serve customers, promote bakery products, handle sales transactions, and help maintain product quality and outlet presentation in line with company standards.

The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn about recipes and SOPs. Fresh graduates are welcome, with prior experience in retail or F&B considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in sales, retail, bakery, or F&B is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and bakery processes preferred.
• Must have Typhoid vaccination certificate or willing to obtain one.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, assist, and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Promote Maaez Delights products and provide accurate product information to customers.
• Handle sales transactions accurately through the company's official payment channels and systems.
• Assist in preparing selected products according to recipes, production schedules, and company specifications.
• Assist in preparing ingredients and ensuring all required ingredients are available for daily product preparation.
• Operate relevant bakery and food preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in baking, decorating, packaging, and preparing selected bakery products for sale.
• Ensure all products meet the company's quality, presentation, and specification standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, utensils, equipment, and sales areas.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), food safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Monitor and report any issues relating to product quality, ingredients, equipment, or product availability to the Supervisor.
• Assist in receiving, arranging, and monitoring stock of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled, packaged, and arranged according to company standards.
• Assist in monitoring product freshness, availability, and stock levels to minimise wastage.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily sales and operational targets.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable outlet at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Maaez Delights is looking for passionate, disciplined, hardworking, and customer-oriented individuals to join our Sales Team as a Full-Time Sales Assistant.
