Job summary

Rakanda is seeking a Sales and Merchandising Executive for Plastic Products in Malaysia. You will handle customer enquiries, manage purchasing and shipping, liaise with suppliers on pricing and stock, and plan stock replenishment across warehouses and outlets.

You will also analyze sales data, support pricing strategies, and onboard new products. The role requires 1–3 years’ experience in related fields and a Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Procurement.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, merchandising, sales support or product management.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, trading or plastic products is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, orders and sales follow-up.
• Manage local and overseas purchasing, including purchase orders, payment requests, shipping and import documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, stock availability, lead time and delivery schedules.
• Source and evaluate new products and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan stock replenishment and transfers between warehouses/outlets.
• Analyse sales, margins, market trends and competitor/e-commerce pricing.
• Support pricing strategies, promotions and vendor rebate negotiations.
• Monitor slow-moving and excess stock and recommend appropriate actions.
• Manage new product onboarding, SKU creation, costing and sales projections.
• Prepare sales, inventory and product performance reports.

Sales and Merchandising Executive (Plastic Products)

Responsible for purchasing, inventory planning, merchandising and sales support for the Plastic product category. The role works closely with suppliers, warehouses, outlets and internal teams to ensure product availability, competitive pricing and healthy sales performance.

In this role, you will:

• Handle customer enquiries, orders and sales follow-up.


• Manage local and overseas purchasing, including purchase orders, payment requests, shipping and import documentation.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks
