Job summary

LKX BUILDERS SDN BHD is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring work follows project schedules and specifications. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, can read drawings, and communicates effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

A Site Supervisor / Site Coordinator role overseeing daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out according to project schedules and specifications, with responsibility for coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out according to project schedules and specifications
• Read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and technical documents
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations at the construction site
• Prepare site progress reports and update management on project status
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly to minimize project delays
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with company and client requirements
• Manage site resources, materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently

About you

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Relevant experience in construction site supervision is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to speak Mandarin/Chinese will be an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and under minimum supervision
• NIOSH Safety & Health Training Certificate
• Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) – preferred for projects requiring a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)
• First Aid & CPR Certification is an added advantage.
