The ideal candidate holds a degree in Occupational Health and Safety and has 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector. Responsibilities include supervising safety practices, investigating incidents, and implementing HSE plans effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably 2–3 years or more.
• Local from Bintulu only.
• Minimum three years’ experience in Oil & Gas.

We are seeking a dedicated and competent Safety Personnel to join our team in Malaysia. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with the Department.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day‑to‑day activities within a particular construction workplace.
• Ensures that workers use the necessary protective equipment.
• Investigates accidents and tackles their causes.
• Ensures the production process is closely monitored and runs smoothly according to target sets.
• Implements annual HSE plans and other HSE programs with consultation from HSSE Advisors and Lead HSSEIA.
• Monitors and follows up on HSE open issues; advises OIMs.
• Ensures and implements policy and procedures under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (514) 1994 and related safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering discipline or any related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; preferably 2–3 years or more.
• Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
