Job summary

BGP Geophysical Malaysia is seeking a PR Officer / Community Relations Officer to support project operations in Sabah. You will introduce the company to clients and communities, build relationships, and gather feedback while coordinating with authorities.

Travel to project locations and site visits are expected as needed. The role requires strong communication, independence, and knowledge of Sabah's local culture; English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency is essential, with prior PR/Community

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
Good knowledge of Sabah's local culture and environment.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience in PR/Community Relations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Introduce the company and project activities to clients, local communities and stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, local communities and relevant parties.
Communicate with local communities and collect feedback, concerns and suggestions.
Assist in coordination with clients, communities and relevant authorities.
Assist with permits and coordination matters.
Conduct site visits and external activities when required.
Support the project team in resolving communication issues.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
