The role will work with Management, internal departments, media representatives, suppliers and external parties on matters related to corporate communication and public relations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in public relations, corporate communications, media monitoring or related functions.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Good coordination, reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Understanding of the Malaysian media landscape, particularly in Sabah.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Prepare and coordinate press releases, media statements and official communication materials.
Liaise with media representatives and coordinate media-related activities.
Monitor news and media coverage relevant to Jetama and prepare media reports for Management.
Assist in preparing speeches, key messages and other communication materials as required.
Assist HOD planning and coordinating CSR programmes, company events, official visits and external activities, including documentation, reports, correspondence and media records.
Liaise with internal departments, stakeholders and external parties on Public Relations and Corporate Communications matters.
Coordinate corporate advertisements, notices and approved newspaper or e-paper subscriptions.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
