DHUB (SELANGOR) SDN. BHD. seeks a Robotics Specialist/Operator to run humanoid robots and quadruped robot dogs at live events, while choreographing routines and coordinating with event teams.
The role combines hands-on hardware operation, safety checks, and on-site troubleshooting, with opportunities to create engaging performances and support client demonstrations.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Salary: RM 2,700 - RM 3,300 per month
We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and hands-on Robotics Specialist / Operator to join our growing robotics team. Our business focuses on futuristic robotic solutions, including humanoid robots and quadruped robot dogs for live events, exhibitions, product demonstrations, and VVIP Welcoming & Interaction.
This is an exciting opportunity for tech enthusiasts who enjoy operating cutting-edge hardware, choreographing interactive robot performances, and handling live event tech operations.
1. Robot Operation & Live Execution
Operate humanoid robots, robot dogs, and related equipment during live events and customer demos. Handle one or multi-robot group-control operations seamlessly. Conduct pre-event testing and setups to ensure zero performance disruptions.
2. Performance & Skill Development
Develop, practice, and test at least 3 new usable robot skills or routines monthly, such as dances, greetings, VVIP Welcoming & Interaction, and guest interactions. Design custom dialogue and interactive sequences for emcee and client event requirements.
3. Event Technical Support & Coordination
Set up, test, and operate robots during live event deployments. Conduct full rehearsals prior to shows and coordinate technical cues closely with the Event PIC and event team.
4. Safety & SOP Compliance
Perform mandatory safety checks before every robot operation. Strictly follow company Robotics SOPs and immediately halt operations if any technical or safety risk is identified.
5. Equipment, Inventory & Maintenance
Perform routine inspections, battery management, and basic preventive maintenance. Maintain accurate check-in/out records for all robots, controllers, chargers, and accessories with zero loss or preventable damage.
6. Troubleshooting & Technical Records
Handle basic on-site technical and operational issues independently. Coordinate with manufacturer technical support for complex issues and maintain organized logs of maintenance, repairs, and firmware updates.
Support customer product demos, internal training, and sales presentations by explaining robot capabilities. Assist with photo and video content creation featuring the robots when required.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Fresh graduates with a strong passion for robotics are welcome.
Preferably 1-3 years of experience in robotics operation, hardware maintenance, tech event support, or equipment handling.
Must be able to communicate fluently in Mandarin/Chinese and English (verbal and written) to coordinate effectively with event teams, suppliers, and client engagements.
Hands-on familiarity with equipment maintenance, basic troubleshooting, or multi-device/group-control software is a major advantage.
Creative mindset with an interest in choreographing robot movements, performance sequences, and guest interactions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under fast-paced live event environments.
Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and disciplined in maintaining inventory and technical logs.
