Job summary

MR. ROBOT is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate humanoid robotics projects from proof-of-concept through deployment, testing and handover.

You will bridge customers, Sales/BD, Engineering and Operations to ensure requirements, timelines, risks, and issue resolution are clearly understood and managed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in project engineering, project management, robotics, automation, system integration, or a related technical environment.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating the delivery of humanoid robotics projects from proof-of-concept (POC) through deployment, testing, training, and handover.

The role acts as a key bridge between customers, Sales/BD, Engineering, Operations, and technology partners, ensuring project requirements are clearly understood, timelines are managed, risks are identified, and issues are driven towards resolution.

As humanoid robotics is an emerging and evolving technology, the role requires someone who is

comfortable working with evolving requirements, technical limitations, and situations where

standard solutions may not yet exist. The ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and

customers to find practical solutions will be important.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Translate customer and business requirements into clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate POCs, demonstrations, deployments, testing, training, and handover activities.
• Track project progress, dependencies, resources, and outstanding actions.
• Work closely with Sales/BD, Engineering, Operations, customers, and technology partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identify potential delays, risks, and blockers and drive appropriate follow-up.

Buying & Suppliers

• Act as a key project contact between customers and internal teams.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable requirements for Engineering.
• Coordinate with Engineering to assess technical feasibility, limitations, risks, and potential solutions.
• Manage customer expectations when requirements, timelines, or technical capabilities change.
• Drive resolution of project issues, risks, dependencies, and scope changes.

Inventory & Margin

• Develop and improve AI capabilities supporting robot perception, decision-making, manipulation, and task execution.
• Support POC-to-deployment activities, including testing, commissioning, training, acceptance, and handover.
• Maintain key project documentation, including requirements, timelines, action items, and risk/issue logs.
• Capture lessons learned from POCs and deployments.
• Contribute to improving project processes, deployment practices, and internal standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve or expand robotics applications based on customer feedback and project experience.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in project engineering, project management, robotics, automation, system integration, or a related technical environment.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
• Technical knowledge or experience in robotics, AI, automation, system integration, or related technologies is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for POCs, deployment, testing, and other project activities when required.
• Strong interest in AI, robotics, and emerging technologies.
