Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking a Robotics Application Engineer to bridge pre-sales and engineering. You will translate customer requirements into practical robotics solutions, conduct demos, and drive POCs across retail, logistics, and manufacturing sectors.

The role requires hands-on experience with ROS2, Linux, and NVIDIA Jetson platforms, plus strong Python/C++ skills and excellent communication for customer-facing engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical/electronic engineering, CS, automation or related field.
• 2–4 years in robotics, automation, or technical pre-sales.
• Strong understanding of robotics, automation systems and integration concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and Linux environments is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for assessments and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand workflows and automation requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical solution specifications and configurations.
• Support pre-sales with demonstrations, proposals, and scoping.
• Plan and conduct robotics product demonstrations and POCs.
• Configure and customize robotic systems for customer applications.
• Assist with system integration, testing, and customer acceptance activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, AI, and Operations teams throughout projects.
