Job summary

Aonic is seeking a results-driven Solutions Engineer to drive end-to-end technical solutioning for drone docks, robotics, and RaaS across Malaysia. You will translate client requirements into deployable architectures covering hardware, software, and connectivity, and lead technical discovery with costed deployment plans.

In this role you will support proposals with BOMs, write-up solutions, and deliver product demonstrations while staying aligned with engineering roadmaps and client IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical sales, or systems integration.
• Working knowledge of IT and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi/cellular, VPN, cloud basics, API integration).
• Understanding of software architecture: cloud vs on‑premise, digital twin, data/system integration.
• Hands‑on aptitude with robotics/drones; able to demonstrate and troubleshoot in front of clients.
• Strong presentation, proposal writing, and client-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for assessments and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, site assessments, solution design, and POC scoping for opportunities.
• Support proposals with solution write‑ups, BOMs, scopes of work, and deployment plans.
• Be the technical reference point for sales; handle inquiries and tailor right‑sized solutions.
• Design how Aonic software architecture, including Arc, integrates with client environments (cloud/on‑premise).
• Advise on network/infrastructure needs: connectivity, security, remote streaming, fleet operations.
• Plan and lead product demonstrations; maintain demonstration readiness and materials.
• Collaborate with engineering to convert capabilities into sales collateral and FAQs.
