Job summary

Swisslog is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver customer support after project implementation and during retrofit projects. You will provide 24x7 hotline or on-site support, perform regular maintenance, and assist in commissioning and deployment to ensure systems run reliably.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering, at least 1 year in installation and service of industrial equipment, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering.
• Min 1 year working experience in installation, commissioning and customer support services of industrial/process equipment.
• Independent and able to work under pressure, tight schedule and odd hours.
• Proactive with a strong customer and team focus.
• Proficiency in English (oral & written).
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Excel).
• Willing to travel domestically on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide hotline or onsite support to customers for installed systems (24x7).
• Provide regular maintenance service on site locally.
• Respond to customers’ concerns promptly, always in Swisslog’s interest.
• Assist in commissioning and deployment during project implementation with on-site assistance.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide training to customer’s maintenance staff as needed.
• Regular maintenance activities on-site with knowledge updates on new installations and processes.
