Job summary

Swisslog Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a customer service / helpdesk oriented engineer to provide on-site maintenance and project support for automated material handling systems. You will respond to customer concerns, assist in commissioning, and record incidents in CMMS while working with English and Bahasa Malaysia language skills.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Mechatronics / Electrical / Controls Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical/mechatronics equipment support and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience resolving electrical and mechatronics problems.
• Independent, able to work under pressure, overtime and on-call.
• Proactive with a customer- and team-focused mindset.
• Experience with automated material handling systems and PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
• Good MS Office skills and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular on-site inspection and maintenance service.
• Strive to recover systems in the shortest reasonable time.
• Respond to customer concerns and complaints appropriately.
• Translate customer requirements into actions with proactive thinking.
• Identify potential new investments for customers.
• Support customers during and after office hours.
• Assist in commissioning and deployment during projects, provide on-site support.
• Record incidents in CMMS and track resolutions.
• Troubleshoot problems independently before escalating.
• Assist with spare parts handling and inventory.
