Job summary

MTD Industries in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a diligent operator to perform robot welding tasks in line with production schedules. You will operate, monitor, and adjust robotic welding equipment to meet quality and dateline requirements, while ensuring safety and 5S standard adherence.

The role requires following supervisor instructions, maintaining production records, supporting customers and quality inquiries, and contributing to continuous improvement through compliant practices and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Robot welding experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Attention to accuracy and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robot welding equipment according to production plan and schedules.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on welding robots and associated equipment.
• Provide support for customer and quality inquiries as needed by supervisor.
• Maintain production output records and ensure data accuracy.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and promote safe working practices.
• Ensure emergency procedures are followed and report any incidents promptly.
• Report non-conformities to supervisor and participate in corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S practices in the workplace and keep work area clean and organized.
• Execute other duties assigned by management from time to time.
• Follow company policies and procedures as laid out in the SOPs.
• Take responsibility for risk areas assigned to you and manage related risks.
• Comply with all company protocols and quality standards.

Job description

• 1. To perform robot welding work, assign by Supervisor.
• 2. To Perform Robot Welding work as per customer requirement.
• 3. To complete work as assign by superior according to the production schedule and meet the dateline given.
• 4. Daily preventive maintenance of Robot welding machine.
• 5. Provide support to customer and quality enquiries
• 6. Maintaining of production output records.
• 7. Performing work safely by following safety and health regulation
• 8. Ensure emergency activities been carry out properly
• 9. Reporting non-conformity to Superior
• 10. Ensure the 5S activities.
• 11. Others duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
• 12. Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the Company Policy and Procedures.
• 13. To be responsible at assigned each risk area for the management of particular risk.
• 14. Maintain and responsible for 5’s practices in workplace.
