Job summary

Sunrise Recruit (CP4U) is seeking a workshop supervisor to oversee daily tasks, guide workers, and ensure welding and cutting meet design specs. You will manage manpower and materials, ensure tools are available, and uphold strict safety standards on site.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings with planners, coordinating with the Safety team, and maintaining accurate progress records in MS Excel. Working days are Mon-Fri plus Saturday with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Directly assign daily tasks and guide workshop workers to meet production goals.
• Review drawings with planners to ensure cutting, fitting, and welding meet design specs.
• Estimate manpower and materials, issue material requests, ensure tools/equipment are available and functional.
• Enforce safe working environment and report incidents to Safety team.
• Record progress in MS Excel and update records as directed.

Job description

• Assign daily tasks, guide workshop workers, resolve operational problems, and conduct weekly toolbox meetings and job training.
• Review drawings with planners to ensure cutting, fitting, and welding meet design specifications, while managing steel material usage and minimizing wastage.
• Estimate required manpower/materials, issue material requests, and ensure tools and equipment (e.g., welding sets) are available and in working condition.
• Enforce a safe working environment, respond to site accidents, and report incidents immediately to the Safety team.
• Compile daily timesheets, track progress, update records using MS Excel, and perform additional duties assigned by management.

Working day: Mon-Fri | Sat

Working hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm | 8.00am - 1.00pm
