Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator with a Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Welding and at least 1 year of metal fabrication experience. Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding, reading WPS and drawings, and knowledge of QMS, EMS and OHSMS are required.

The role involves operating robotic welding machines, maintaining equipment, and following welding schedules. You will coordinate with purchasing for parts, ensure safety and cleanliness, and support environmental

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Welding with at least 1 year of metal fabrication experience.
• MIG/TIG welding skills.
• Ability to read WPS and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of QMS, EMS and OHSMS.

Responsibilities

• Use Microsoft Office and other documentation or task-related software.
• Operate robotic welding machines according to methods and procedures.
• Ensure machines and tools are properly maintained and kept clean.
• Study and understand welding schedules and WPS on drawings before performing welding jobs.
• Control and manage individual welding processes to avoid overheating, distortion, and unintended expansion or shrinking of weld objects.
• Order related parts, tooling, or machine needs by raising Purchase Requisition Notes (PRN) to the purchasing department.
• Perform daily housekeeping to maintain high standards of workplace cleanliness.
• Observe and adhere to proper work practices in accordance with environmental, safety, and health requirements.
• Perform duties related to QMS, EMS, and OHSMS
