Job summary

Logistics and invoicing specialist role at Kuehne+Nagel in Malaysia offers involvement in end-to-end billing processes for road freight and related services. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service, billing, or freight forwarding operations.
• Experience in handling customer accounts, billing reports, invoicing, and billing-related queries.
• Background in any freight forwarding modality (Air, Ocean, Road, or Contract Logistics) is welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday (alternate Saturdays) and support overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily billing activities with Operations and Pricing teams, generate and submit invoices with supporting documents, and manage PODs.
• Follow up on pending billing, driver salary processing, customer billing reports, and ensure timely month-end closure.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Pricing, and Billing teams to ensure timely completion of billing activities and ownership of pending issues.
• Ensure customer invoices are accurate and aligned with agreed rates and terms; address billing queries and reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to support revenue recognition and month-end financial closure; monitor unbilled items.
• Identify recurring billing issues and work with relevant teams to implement process improvements and meet objectives.
