Motorola Solutions in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Tetra HW Engineering team onsite in Bayan Lepas. The role focuses on RF transmitter design, simulation, troubleshooting, optimization and regulatory compliance for sophisticated communication products.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical and at least 3 years of RF/digital controller experience, with strong analytical, presentation, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on RF/digital controller/audio field experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Familiar with ADS and PCB layout is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF transmitters and related subsystems.
• Perform simulation, troubleshooting, optimization, validation and testing.
• Drive end-to-end RF development and mitigation strategies.
• Build prototypes for testing circuit designs.
• Ensure product compliance with reliability and regulatory standards.
