Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a New Grad Engineer to design and develop advanced communication products within the Tetra HW Engineering team. You will contribute to RF and controller design, simulations, troubleshooting and testing activities throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in telecoms/electrical engineering, shows strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and can work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and cross-functional coordination.
• Able to communicate and present ideas to technical audiences.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and be a good team player.
• Knowledge of ADS simulation tools and PCB layout is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle design and development of highly sophisticated communication products.
• Handle RF/Controller design, simulation, troubleshooting, optimization, validation and test activities.
• Construct prototypes or proofs of concept for testing circuit designs using workbench tools and test equipment.
• Ensure product compliance with reliability and regulatory standards.
