Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Penang, Malaysia, part of our Advanced Technology department, designs and develops antennas for two-way radios across our product lines. The role focuses on mechanical design, simulations, optimization, validation and test activities to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have a bachelor degree in Mechanics/Forces or related field, at least 3 years of mechanical design experience, hands-on CAD/3D modeling, and familiarity with RF equipment such

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanics/Forces, Thermal and Fluids, Control System or related areas.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical design.
  • Experience with mechanical simulations (CAD, 3D modeling).
  • Ability to prepare mechanical prints and drawings with specs/testing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good knowledge of material properties; RF equipment familiarity (CMW, network/spectrum analyzers).
