Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, assembly, and production of RF and electronic equipment. The role welcomes candidates with 1–2 years of experience and fresh graduates with a hands-on attitude.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, creating drawings and BOMs, and collaborating with production and suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable and robust. Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with good learning attitude are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts, enclosures, brackets, fixtures, and assemblies for RF/electronic products.
• Prepare and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
• Prepare assembly drawings and work instructions for production teams.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and mechanical modification.
• Ensure mechanical designs are suitable for manufacturing, assembly, servicing, and production.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers on machining, sheet metal, CNC, 3D printing, coating, and other fabrication processes.
• Support mechanical design improvements based on production feedback and product issues.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical tolerances, material selection, fasteners, connectors, sealing, and mounting methods.
• Support basic mechanical calculations such as load, clearance, tolerance, and thermal considerations.
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
• Support product qualification and environmental testing where required.
• Work closely with engineers from different disciplines to resolve mechanical integration issues.
