Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an Electronics Hardware R&D engineer to assist in circuit design, prototype assembly, and testing. You will troubleshoot down to component level, support PLC/software tweaks, and help address EMC requirements while maintaining documentation.

The role involves working with engineers to meet project timelines, using testing equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes, and contributing to product improvements. Fresh graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• 1–3 years in R&D, electronics, hardware design or troubleshooting is a plus.
• Good knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Basic to intermediate hardware/software design and troubleshooting.
• Able to perform component-level troubleshooting.
• Familiar with testing equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI requirements is an added advantage.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and technical specs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits, modules and products.
• Perform assembly, wiring and modification of prototypes per drawings.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes and modules.
• Troubleshoot hardware down to component level and identify root causes.
• Support hardware and software development and product improvements.
• Operate CAD/engineering software and testing equipment.
• Perform functional, performance and reliability testing of electronic products.
• Support EMC testing and compliance activities.
