Job summary

FamilyMart Malaysia is seeking a customer service oriented individual to join our retail team in Penang. You will help ensure smooth daily store operations, assist customers, stock merchandise and maintain store standards.

This role requires reliable shift work including weekends and public holidays, and you must have own transport. Candidates should have at least an SPM or retail experience, good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• At least an SPM qualification or relevant retail experience.
• Clear communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Candidates with no retail experience but positive attitude encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work at retail outlets and relocate when required.
• Able to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
• Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store operations adhere to company policies and standards.
• Forecast, plan, order and stock merchandise to keep inventories available.
• Utilize staff efficiently to achieve departmental objectives.
• Promote professionalism within the retail operation team.
• Guide and ensure orderly store activities.
• Act as deputy to manage store in Store Manager's absence.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety and housekeeping.
• Undertakes other tasks as required by superiors.

• Undertakes other tasks as required by superiors.
