Job summary

EMO Book Services is seeking a Store Supervisor for our Johor Bahru retail location. You will oversee daily store operations, lead the team, and ensure top-notch customer service while managing inventory and visual merchandising.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to drive sales and maintain store standards. Weekend work and peak-season coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
• 2 years retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the retail store.
• Lead, coach, and motivate retail staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and stock accuracy.
• Monitor sales performance and achieve sales targets.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product displays.
• Prepare daily sales reports and cash reconciliation.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and office to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office and POS systems).
• Able to work weekends and during peak school seasons when required.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Own transport
