Job summary

Converse Malaysia - MAP Active Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Retail Operations professional to oversee and execute overall operations of the Converse Tebrau City store. You will handle customer queries, sales floor standards, merchandising, till operations, and product knowledge to promote sales.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail, a cheerful team player with strong communication, and availability for shift work including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 year(s) of experience in retail, preferably sports, fashion or lifestyle chains.

Responsibilities

• Proactively follow-up on customer queries & needs.
• Achieve the standards on the sales floor, cashier counter and service zone.
• General store operations – merchandising, inventory, stock take, housekeeping.
• Operate the till with correct cash handling procedures.
• Keep up-to-date product knowledge to advise customers effectively.
• Suggest products and promote benefits to drive sales.
• Develop connections with customers to foster loyalty and repeat transactions.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Line Manager.
