Job summary

Harvey Norman Malaysia is seeking a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager to lead a sales team in a fast-moving electrical, computers and furniture retail environment. You will guide staff, drive sales targets and KPIs, and oversee store operations including merchandising, inventory replenishment and promotional activities with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities (verbal and written).
• Multi-lingual fluency: ENGLISH and Bahasa Malaysia, plus one other language is an added advantage.

Role Description

This is a store management role, for which you will manage a team of sale staff and promoters, drive them towards achieving sales target and KPIs set forth by the company. The Retail Store Manager are also expected to effectively manage the store operations not limiting to store display merchandising, inventory replenishment, executing sales promotions and promoting good customer service. You should be a current Store Manager or experienced Second In-Charge, have a strong retail background in electrical products, have the experience and leadership skills to lead, train and motivate a team of salespeople. Good understanding of retail business with proven track record in growing and managing a business.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Retail Management, Marketing or Business Administration. Those without relevant qualifications but strong in retail experience will be considered.


• Minimum 3 years related experience in a retail environment with at least one year of managerial experience.


• Willing to work on weekends with duty roster arrangements.


• Strong business acumen, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
