Job summary

ROBOT SPACE Sdn Bhd is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead day-to-day store operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive sales, manage staff, handle admin tasks, and ensure excellent customer service. The role involves monitoring promotions, handling payments, and maintaining store presentation.

The ideal candidate will bring retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to coach staff. Benefits include allowances after probation and EPF/SOCSO support.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service, admin support, teaching or childcare is a plus.
• Ability to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Ability to manage store operations and staff scheduling.
• Excellent customer complaint resolution and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, achieve targets, and increase profitability and visitor volume.
• Implement promotional campaigns and ensure marketing materials are updated.
• Maintain daily operational processes and control operational costs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, resolving complaints, and improving customer satisfaction.
• Monitor social media accounts closely and promptly reply to customers’ enquiries.
• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to store policies and procedures, and evaluating employees regularly.
• Handles daily terminal settlements and ensures store safety and cleanliness.
• Manage overall store operations, including sales, inventory, customer service, employee management, and class scheduling.
• Be aware of shoplifting and payment or identity fraud; resolve special cases with customers.
• Greet customers with a smile, recommend products, and process payments using POS systems.
• Able to work on shifts; meal and transportation allowance provided after probation.

Responsibilities

• - Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, achieve targets, and increase profitability and visitor volume

• - Be presentable and take good care of personal hygiene at all times.
• - Handle daily terminal settlement and sort it accordingly.
• - Ensure a high level of cleanliness, organisation, and store safety.
• - Manage other administrative and HR related matters.
• Greet customers with a smile and make them feel welcome
• Recommend the best products to customers
• Process payments by using cash register, credit card machines, and/or POS system
• Ensure products are presentable and clean
• Manage overall store operations, including sales, inventory, customer service, employee management, and class scheduling
• Be aware of shoplifting and payment or identity fraud
• Resolve any special cases that needed special handling during customer complaints
• Basic cleaning before opening and after closing
