Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) is seeking a Shop Assistant (Full Time) for KK Super Mart Cheras, M Vertica (2). The role supports daily store operations, stock replenishment, and customer service at the Cheras outlet in Kuala Lumpur.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of retail experience, good communication skills, and basic computer/ POS knowledge. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required, with own transport preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and POS knowledge.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Possess own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily store operations and ensure smooth outlet activities.
• Receive, inspect, record, arrange, replenish, and return merchandise.
• Assist with stock management and inventory checking.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper store presentation.
• Operate POS systems and store equipment according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper care and security of company assets and merchandise.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist with emergencies and report incidents to the person in charge.
• Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain KK Supermart’s brand image and service standards.
