Job summary

Al-Futtaim's M&S in Malaysia seeks a Sales Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, apply expert product knowledge, and engage proactively with shoppers.

You will operate tills, manage merchandise, replenish stock, and follow safety and loss-prevention procedures while supporting management with ad hoc duties.

Flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays are required; fluency in English is expected to provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training and career development opportunities within M&S.
• Retail experience preferred; fashion retail experience advantageous.
• Pleasant and cheerful disposition.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English.
• Candidates with WSQ Retail Qualifications are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of customer service per M&S Way and make every customer feel welcome.
• Sell through effective product information, styling advice and highlight promotions.
• Ensure merchandising and stock replenishment meet seasonal guidelines.
• Operate tills with accurate cash handling and POS procedures.
• Prevent pilferage and minimize stock loss on sales floor and back of house.
• Maintain safety and hygiene on the sales floor and in back of house areas.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management.
