Job summary

TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Retail Fulfillment Process Engineer to maintain packaging process parameters from tape-and-reel to final labeling and sealing. You will address daily line issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive cost and yield improvements.

You will lead new product introductions, run DOE tests to optimize packaging windows, and ensure material compatibility. Strong cross-functional communication and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a manufacturing process engineer.
• Familiar with final product packaging processes (tape and reel, vacuum sealing, anti-static bags, packaging labels).
• Master problem analysis tools: RCA, 8D, 5Why, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process parameters across all stages of retail finished product packaging.
• Handle daily production line process abnormalities and drive containment actions.
• Conduct RCA and produce 8D reports to close corrective actions.
• Lead new product introduction from testing to final packaging and run DOE experiments.
• Verify packaging material compatibility and transition from low to high volume manufacturing.
• Update SOPs, WI, Control Plans and PFMEA.
• Conduct process capability analyses to promote LEAN MFG and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production, QA, equipment, warehouse, and customer service.
