TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Retail Fulfillment Process Engineer to maintain packaging process parameters from tape-and-reel to final labeling and sealing. You will address daily line issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive cost and yield improvements.
You will lead new product introductions, run DOE tests to optimize packaging windows, and ensure material compatibility. Strong cross-functional communication and a Bachelor’s degree are required.
The Retail Fulfillment Process Engineer is responsible for maintaining process parameters across all stages of retail finished product packaging, including tape and reel, master carton, pallet loading, vacuum moisture-proof sealing, anti-static bags, retail gift box packaging, laser marking, label printing, and serial number coding. This role involves handling daily production line process abnormalities, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement in yield, efficiency, and cost.
Maintain process parameters across all stages of retail finished product packaging (tape and reel, master carton, pallet loading, vacuum moisture-proof sealing, anti-static bags, retail gift box packaging, laser marking, label printing, serial number coding)
Handle daily production line process abnormalities such as packaging damage, incomplete sealing, blurred markings, material mix-ups, incorrect label printing, and moisture protection failure
Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and produce 8D improvement reports to drive closure of corrective and preventive actions
Lead new product introduction from post-testing to final retail packaging and conduct DOE experiments to determine the packaging process window
Verify compatibility of packaging materials (carrier tape, cover tape, desiccant, anti-static bag, vacuum film, retail packaging box)
Lead the transition from LVM (Low Volume MFG) to HVM (High Volume MFG)
Compile and update SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), WI (Working Instructions), Control Plan, and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
