in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Retail Outlet Supervisor who will run a store as if it were their own, steering a sales team to surpass targets and maintain elite on-floor standards. You will be on the sales floor, close high-ticket deals, train and discipline staff, ensure immaculate visuals, and uphold strict inventory and cash controls, with weekend and rotating shifts required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years retail experience with at least 1 year leading a team.
• Experience in tech, electronics, or premium lifestyle retail preferred.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• On the sales floor, monitor foot traffic and help close high-ticket deals.
• Train, motivate, and discipline floor staff; replace underperformers.
• Maintain visual merchandising and ensure store looks immaculate.
• Own stockroom, conduct daily cycle counts, and prevent shrinkage.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in daily POS cash reconciliation.

Job description

At Aihome, our physical stores are the engine of our retail business. We do not need a passive supervisor who just sits in the back room doing the roster and waiting for the shift to end. We are looking for a hardcore, lead-by-example Retail Outlet Supervisor who takes absolute ownership of their store, drives the sales team to crush their targets, and maintains elite operational standards on the floor.

THE MANDATE:

You are the captain of your specific retail outlet. Your job is to treat the store like it is your own business. You are responsible for maximizing daily revenue, training your sales staff to be ruthless closers, and ensuring the physical store looks immaculate at all times.

WHAT YOU MUST DELIVER:

Sales Floor Domination:

You are on the floor, not hiding in the back. You actively monitor foot traffic, step in to help your staff close difficult, high-ticket deals, and aggressively push the team to hit their daily numbers.

Operational Excellence:

You enforce the rules. You ensure visual merchandising is perfect, all smart home demo units are fully functional, and the store is spotless before the doors open.

Inventory & Cash Control:

You own the stockroom. You conduct strict daily cycle counts, prevent inventory shrinkage, and ensure the daily POS cash reconciliation is 100% accurate.

Team Enforcement:

You train, motivate, and discipline your floor staff. If an Account Executive is underperforming, you coach them. If they refuse to improve, you replace them.

NON-NEGOTIABLES (Who You Are):

Battle-Tested Supervisor:

You have 2 to 4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year actively managing a team and holding the keys to the store. Experience in tech, electronics, or premium lifestyle retail is highly preferred.

Lead-by-Example Closer:

You are the best salesperson in the room. Your team respects you because you can close the deals they cannot.

Shift Commander:

You understand retail hours. You are fully prepared to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts when the mall traffic is at its absolute peak.

Language:

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin is a massive advantage for engaging diverse retail demographics).

Achieving zero unexplainable stock variances during the month-end audit.
