Job summary

SFRESH TRADING SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Coordinator to oversee store openings and ongoing outlet readiness across multiple supermarket partners in Malaysia. You will visit new outlets, check location readiness, and ensure operational standards are met.

You will develop planograms, train staff on merchandising, conduct audits, and report on performance, stock, and compliance. A diploma or degree in retail or related fields is required, with 2–3 years of relevant

Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing or related.
SPM/STPM with relevant retail experience may be considered.
2–3 years of experience in retail operations, supermarket, merchandising or related field.
Experience in multi-outlet operations, store openings, planogram implementation and merchandising is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and data management.
Willing to travel frequently and work weekends/public holidays when required.
Possess a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular visits to newly opened and upcoming supermarket outlets to oversee operational readiness and ensure smooth store openings.
Monitor and evaluate overall store conditions, including product arrangement, merchandising standards and product placement, for compliance.
Ensure outlets maintain high levels of readiness, cleanliness, organization and presentation at all times.
Work with the Operation Manager to develop and implement effective planograms for visibility and space utilization.
Ensure consistent implementation and compliance with approved planograms across all outlets.
Conduct training and guidance to outlet staff on product handling, storage, merchandising and placement.
Develop and implement product-specific SOPs during promotional campaigns to improve efficiency and sales growth.
Monitor outlet compliance with company policies, guidelines and SOPs, and follow up on corrective actions.
Conduct regular store and product audits to assess stock accuracy, placement, merchandising and compliance.
Prepare and maintain reports covering product availability, store sales, openings progress, audit findings and other operational matters for management.
