Job summary

Hai-O Enterprise Berhad is seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Manager in Penang to drive performance across multiple outlets. You will lead a growth-focused ops team, implement SOPs, and ensure service excellence for both company-owned and franchise stores.

You will coordinate sales campaigns, monitor trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management while traveling to different outlets across Malaysia as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in business/retail-related field with at least 3 years in retail chain or franchise ops.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin and travel within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned retail outlets to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the operations team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures, policies and service standards.
• Drive sales strategies, campaigns and service initiatives to improve performance and customer experience.
• Provide franchisees with guidance, support and training to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.
• Monitor market trends, provide insights to senior management and support retail strategy development.
• Coordinate opening, setup and launch of new outlets and inter-department collaboration.
