Job summary

FamilyMart in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a store operations supervisor to ensure daily activities comply with company policies and standards. You will forecast, plan, order and stock merchandise to keep stock levels optimal and supervise retail staff to meet objectives.

Successful candidates will promote professionalism, manage store activities, and be prepared to cover store duties in the manager's absence, while maintaining cleanliness, safety and housekeeping across outlets.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or relevant retail experience.
• Able to communicate clearly in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Willing to relocate to other locations when required.
• Able to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store operations adhere to company policies and operating standards.
• Forecast, plan, order and stock merchandise to ensure stocks availability at all times.
• Ensures effective and economic use of staff retail operations department to achieve its objectives.
• Promotes professionalism of staff in retail operation department.
• To guide and ensure the system for overall store activities in good order.
• Deputies to manage store in the absence of Store Manager.
• To ensure store cleanliness, safety and housekeeping.
• Undertakes other tasks as required by superiors.
