Job summary

Clarks is seeking a proactive Retail Coordinator to support daily retail operations across two multinational brands in the apparel and footwear categories.

You will coordinate inventory, sales reporting, logistics, administration, store activities, and retail events, with a focus on delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in retail sales, operations, merchandising, inventory or administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Canva is a plus.
• Experience with multi-store coordination is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily retail operations across two brands to ensure seamless store performance.
• Prepare and circulate retail performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Plan inventory, stock transfers, and product launches.
• Support events, promotions, and festive campaigns at malls.
• Liaise with logistics, store teams, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist with basic HR admin tasks related to retail staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accurate pricing updates in systems.
• Track KPIs, merchandising sell-through, and reporting accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle enquiries professionally.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Coordinator to support the smooth execution of daily retail operations across two multi-national brands, focusing on apparel and foot ware categories.

This role will be central to coordinating inventory, sales reporting, logistics, administration, store activities, and retail event management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, retail sales floor experience and a passion for delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations

• Oversee & planning of retail operations to ensure seamless store performance.
• Act as point of contact for operational support.
• Coordinate communication for product launches, promotions, and retail initiatives.
• Assist with store setup, refurbishment, relocations, and closures.
• Support festive campaigns, atrium sales, roadshows, and promotional events.
• Handle basic HR administration tasks related to retail staff when required.
• Undertake ad hoc duties and projects assigned by the Retail Head.
• Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly retail performance reports.
• Track KPIs, promotions, merchandising sell-through, and inventory performance.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reporting.

Inventory Management

• Plan and allocate inventory for new product arrivals.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and inter-store transfers.
• Monitor stock movement and assist with stock takes.
• Manage inventory adjustments.

Logistics Coordination

• Liaise with logistics providers and 3PL partners for deliveries.
• Ensure timely distribution of products to stores.
• Monitor and maintain operational supplies (receipt rolls, bags, consumables).
• Work with IT to update product pricing, promotions, and system enhancements.

Customer Service

• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.

Event Coordination

• Organize atrium sales, roadshows, and promotional events.
• Liaise with mall management, vendors, and contractors.
• Oversee event setup and dismantling to ensure smooth execution.

Security & Compliance

• Review CCTV footage when required for investigations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not vital)

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in retail sales, retail operations, merchandising, inventory, or retail administration.
• Experience in multi-store retail coordination is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Canva.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems, ERP and e-commerce platforms.
