Job summary

Aihome is seeking a highly proactive Retail Operations Executive to travel between our Kuala Lumpur outlets and HQ, enforcing SOPs and ensuring every store delivers a premium, high-tech customer experience.

You will be on the ground auditing stores, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and rapidly addressing any facility or IT issues that may arise to keep sales uninterrupted. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in retail operations, visual merchandising or multi-store coordination.
• Field-based role requiring travel between Kuala Lumpur outlets.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a strong advantage for coordinating with mall management and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Enforce SOPs and conduct rigorous store audits to ensure premium, high-tech in-store experiences.
• Oversee visual merchandising and tech maintenance; ensure price tags and displays are up-to-date and all demos are functional.
• Coordinate facility and IT issue resolution on-site to minimize sales disruption, including vendor liaison when needed.
• Manage stock and assets at store level, including cycle counts and loss prevention measures.

Job description

At Aihome, our physical stores are immersive tech playgrounds. When a customer walks in, the visual merchandising must be flawless, the smart tech must be fully functional, and the retail staff must be operating at peak efficiency. We do not need a passive coordinator who sits at HQ waiting for reports. We need a hardcore, field-deployed Retail Operation Executive to travel between our outlets, enforce our strict SOPs, and ensure every store runs like a well-oiled machine.

THE MANDATE: You are the guardian of Aihome’s retail standards. Your job is to bridge the gap between HQ's vision and the frontline reality. You ensure that whether a customer visits Store A or Store B, they get the exact same premium, high-tech experience.

WHAT YOU MUST DELIVER:

SOP Enforcement & Audits: You are constantly on the ground conducting rigorous store audits. You check cleanliness, staff grooming, attendance, and customer service compliance, leaving zero room for sloppy habits.

Visual Merchandising (VM) & Tech Maintenance: You ensure the stores look immaculate. You make sure price tags are correct, marketing displays are updated on time, and every interactive smart home demo unit is fully powered and functional.

Facility & Crisis Management: If a store’s internet goes down, the air-conditioning breaks, or a POS system crashes on a busy weekend, you do not panic. You step in, coordinate with vendors, and fix the issue immediately so sales are not disrupted.

Stock & Asset Control at Store Level: You work with the store supervisors to oversee strict physical cycle counts, prevent inventory shrinkage, and manage all store assets (uniforms, testing phones, tools).

NON-NEGOTIABLES (Who You Are):

Field-Ready Hustler: You hate sitting in an office. You prefer to be on the road, moving constantly between retail outlets to inspect the floors and support the store teams.

Eagle-Eyed Detail: You are the person who immediately notices a crooked display, a dusty shelf, or a missing stock tag. You are obsessed with physical presentation.

Tech-Savvy: You understand basic smart home tech and IT setups, so when a display router drops offline, you know how to troubleshoot it without calling for backup.

Language: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin is a strong advantage for coordinating with specific mall managements and technical vendors).
