Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated merchandiser to visit assigned stores, replenish stock, and arrange products according to planned displays. The role involves daily store visits, reporting stock levels, and maintaining strong relationships with store staff.

Ideal candidates should have prior retail or merchandiser experience, be comfortable using a smartphone app for reports, and be able to work across multiple stores with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Own motorcycle or car with a valid license to travel between stores.
• Able to lift and carry stock (boxes, cartons) and set up displays.
• Able to work outside the office most of the day, visiting different stores.
• Able to read and follow simple instructions (display plans, stock lists).
• Basic reading and writing (to fill in visit reports and stock counts).
• Reliable and able to complete store visits without close supervision.
• Comfortable talking to store staff and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Visit the stores on a fixed schedule.
• Refill products on shelves to prevent stockouts.
• Arrange products neatly following the display plan.
• Check stock levels and report low or expiring items to the manager.
• Talk to store staff and maintain good relationships.
• Monitor competitor activity and report to manager.
• Document store visits (stock count, issues, actions taken).

Responsibility

What You Will Do Every Day

• Visit the stores we give you, following a fixed schedule

• Refill our products on the shelf so they don't run out

• Arrange our products neatly, following the display plan we give you

• Check how much stock is left. Tell your manager if stock is low or expiring soon

• Talk to store staff and keep a good relationship with them

• Take note of what competitor brands are doing on the shelf. Report this to your manager

• Write down what you did at each store visit (stock count, issues, actions taken)
