Job summary

QL Poultry Farms in Malaysia is seeking a motivated retail promoter to support sales, promotions, and merchandising across outlets. The role includes product demonstrations, stock checks, and customer service with training provided and flexible hours.

Fluent in BM, English and Chinese are preferred, enabling daily communication with distributors, stores, and internal teams. Applicants with own transport have added advantages.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in offline retail / FMCG is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of retail operations (Merchandising, demo & promotions).
• Fluent in BM, English and Chinese, able to handle daily communication.
• Strong communication and execution skills for coordinating with distributors, stores, and internal teams.
• Basic cooking skills.
• Applicants with their own transportation have added advantages.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Promotion: Introduce and explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Merchandising: Set up and maintain product displays according to planograms and brand standards.
• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and replenish shelves; track movement and report insights.
• Reporting: Submit daily sales reports and attendance records; share market feedback.
• Customer Service: Handle inquiries professionally and build relationships with staff and consumers.
• Roadshow & Event Support: Assist with event setup and dismantling and manage demo units.

• Recommend suitable products to boost customer satisfaction and meet sales targets
• Conduct product demonstrations, including basic cooking demos (training provided)

• Set up and maintain product displays according to planograms and brand standards
• Keep shelves, POSM, and display areas clean, tidy, and presentable
• Check pricing labels and promotional materials for accuracy

• Stock Management
• Monitor stock levels and replenish shelves as needed
• Track fast- and slow-moving items and report insights to the team
• Support stock counts and inventory checks

• Reporting
• Submit daily sales reports and attendance records on time
• Share market feedback and competitor updates
• Flag outlet/product issues or customer complaints to your manager
• Customer Service
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and warmly
• Build positive relationships with outlet staff and consumers
