GoldenHome is seeking a Market Expansion and Retail Franchise Manager to develop and execute the Malaysian market expansion plan and recruitment strategy. You will conduct market research, identify target markets, and build relationships with high-quality franchise partners.

You will lead negotiations, oversee contracts and store openings, manage daily operations for franchisees, and drive performance improvement through development initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years of experience in retail franchise development and operations.
• English proficiency at MUET Band 3 or above.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to be based in Malaysia or travel frequently within Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the market expansion plan and retail franchise recruitment strategy for the Malaysian market
• Conduct market research, gather industry information, and identify key target markets
• Establish relationships with high-quality retail franchise partners
• Break down recruitment targets according to the company's business objectives
• Lead negotiations with prospective retail franchisees and oversee contract signing
• Achieve assigned retail franchise recruitment targets
• Oversee store establishment, showroom product displays, and store openings for signed franchisees
• Manage ongoing daily operations for signed franchisees
• Identify franchisees experiencing operational or business performance issues and provide early warnings
• Implement appropriate corrective measures for underperforming franchisees

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above
• At least five years of experience in retail franchise development and operations within the customized home furnishing industry (preferred)
• English proficiency level equivalent to MUET Band 3 or above with good listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Willing to be based in Malaysia or undertake frequent and long-term business trips within the Malaysian market
