Job summary

CapitaLand Retail Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Leasing Manager to plan and implement tenancy mix for a retail mall in Seri Kembangan. You will identify potential tenants, evaluate concepts, and drive negotiations to secure favorable lease terms.

You will coordinate with internal teams on rent collections, fit-outs, and tenant performance, and conduct market research to stay ahead of retail property trends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Leasing Manager in planning and implementing tenancy mix in the retail mall.
• Identify and short-list suitable tenants and retail concepts for the mall.
• Negotiate lease terms and ensure tenants' adherence to terms.
• Prepare tenancy agreements and management reports related to lease transactions.
• Liaise with inter-departments on rental, deposit, fit-out, operations and insurance.
• Conduct market research on shopping centres to track retail property development.
