Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd seeks a Process Engineer to monitor manufacturing processes, drive improvements, and ensure product quality in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in materials, chemistry, or mechanical engineering, 3+ years in PCB/semiconductor manufacturing, and willingness to train in China for 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing processes with PCB/semiconductor exposure.
• Willingness to undergo 6-month training in China.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and communicate in English; Chinese skills are a plus.
• Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process statuses, analyze parameter changes and their impact on product quality.
• Lead development of new products and processes from concept to implementation.
• Regularly evaluate processes, document technical details, and establish SOPs.
• Establish inspection protocols and product quality standards.
• Coordinate production activities and drive continuous improvement projects.

Job description

• Monitor process statuses across multiple areas, analyzing the impact of parameter changes on product quality, and ensuring their reasonableness.
• Lead the development of new products and processes, from concept to implementation.
• Regularly evaluate processes, develop technical documents, and establish standardized operating procedures, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Establish product quality standards and inspection protocols to maintain high-quality output.
• Manage and update process documents for various manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Coordinate production activities and drive improvement projects to enhance yield and efficiency.
• Track and analyze production line issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive projects related to technical improvements, cost savings, and the introduction of new technologies and materials.
• Provide input on trial products and new technologies, guiding the production line through implementation and tracking results.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical, etc.).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, with expertise in areas such as DCB sintering, laser cutting, final inspection packaging, graphics transfer, and surface treatment.
• Experience in the printed circuit board (PCB) and semiconductor manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training in China for a duration of 6 months.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in English as a working language, with the ability to communicate effectively in Chinese.
• Must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang.
