Job summary

Jora Malaysia is recruiting for a retail role in Penang. Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, provide product information, and upsell suitable items while maintaining store presentation and safety standards. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Previous retail experience is an added advantage. You must be able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays, with a positive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide product information and recommend suitable products to customers.
• Replenish stocks and ensure products are displayed according to company standards.
• Monitor product quality, pricing, and shelf labels.
• Handle cashier transactions accurately, including cash, card, and e-wallet payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organization at all times.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging incoming stock deliveries.
• Conduct stock counts and inventory checks as required.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Support promotional activities and store campaigns.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Supervisor or Store Manager.
