Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a Retail Assistant at Gamuda Walk Mall in Penang. The role supports day-to-day store operations, meets sales targets, and delivers friendly customer service.

You will handle cashiering, promote memberships, assist with stock replenishment and housekeeping, and join a growing pet retail chain expanding in Malaysia. Fresh graduates are welcome; weekend/public holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Cashiering experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Own transport is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Balance cash registers and perform cashiering duties.
• Promote PLC membership sign-ups and renewals.
• Replenish stock and assist with stock-take.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safe environment.
• Assist in daily store operations as directed.

Retail Assistant @ Gamuda Walk Mall (Full Time)

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers’ needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements:

Individuals who are hardworking, matured and of pleasant personality are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills and self-motivated sales person are added advantages.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possessing own transport is an added advantage.

Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

Willing to work at Gamuda Walk Mall.
