Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our store and help meet sales targets.

You will perform cashiering, promote PLC memberships, replenish stock, assist with stock takes, and maintain a clean, safe environment for staff, customers, and pets. Fresh graduates are welcome; own transport is a plus, and weekend/public holiday work is required.

• Hardworking, matured and pleasant personality.
• Good communication skills and self-motivated sales attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations to meet sales targets/KPIs.
• Perform cashiering and balance cash registers.
• Promote PLC memberships and renewals to meet customers’ needs.
• Replenish out-of-stock items and assist in stock takes.
• Maintain general housekeeping for a clean, safe environment for staff, customers and pets.
• Perform other daily operations duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers’ needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements
