Job summary

KW GEMILANG ENTERPRISE in Kajang, Selangor, seeks an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead a team and ensure exceptional dining.

You will manage reservations, table assignments and guest flow, while maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality.

Responsibilities include training staff, addressing guest concerns, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring a clean, orderly dining area with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette.
• Excellent customer service skills with calm professionalism in challenging situations.
• Proven ability to train, mentor and develop restaurant staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health code compliance.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities during peak service times.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with restaurant management systems and POS technology.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during service according to standards.
• Train, mentor and develop staff to improve performance.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, portions and service quality.
• Manage table assignments, reservations and guest flow for efficiency.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally with resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations.
• Conduct regular staff briefings on menu items, promotions and updates.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with kitchen on stock needs.
• Assist with scheduling shifts and attendance records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas and back-of-house.
• Report service metrics and staff performance to management.
