SOUPER TANG GROUP SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead all facets of our dining operation.

You will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will manage front- and back-of-house activities, control costs, uphold food safety standards, recruit and train staff, and implement promotional events to boost revenue.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in restaurant management.
• Proven P&L and cost control experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Manage and schedule staff, including recruitment, training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations and standards.
• Monitor and control costs for food, beverage and labour to meet targets.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and promptly resolve guest complaints.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and relationships with vendors.
• Develop and implement restaurant policies to improve efficiency and quality of service.
• Plan and execute promotional activities and events to boost revenue and engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation and ambiance to meet brand standards.
• Prepare reports on financial performance and operational metrics for senior management.
• Train and mentor staff to deliver consistent service excellence.
