Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for WokStar to oversee day-to-day service, breakfast volume, and dining promotions. You will lead the service team, ensure standards, manage costs, and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver quality food and memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel dining environment.

Strong leadership and guest-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in F&B ops, preferably in a hotel all-day dining setting.
• Supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of WokStar during peak periods.
• Ensure all service standards and procedures are consistently followed.
• Monitor service flow and coordinate with the kitchen team.
• Support cost control, stock levels, and wastage reduction.
• Lead the service team during shifts and assist in training.
• Promote upselling and guest engagement.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
