Job summary

MICHELIN CUISINE SDN BHD is seeking a responsible and hands‑on Restaurant Supervisor to support daily operations of our Chinese cuisine restaurant in Malaysia. You will supervise the service team, uphold service standards, coordinate daily operations, and assist with events to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities include leading the service team, managing opening/closing procedures, staff briefings, and handling private functions while maintaining high standards in guest

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in restaurant or F&B operations.
• Experience in Chinese cuisine restaurant operations is highly preferred.
• Proven experience supervising a restaurant or service team.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Customer‑oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced F&B environment.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and peak periods when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily restaurant and event hall operations.
• Lead, guide, and motivate the service team to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure high standards of guest service, food presentation, cleanliness, grooming, and restaurant presentation.
• Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
• Conduct daily staff briefings and communicate operational instructions clearly.
• Assist in managing private functions, corporate events, and large-group reservations.
• Monitor service flow and ensure sufficient manpower during peak periods and events.
• Prepare and monitor staff duty rosters according to operational requirements.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and work performance.
• Monitor customer feedback and complaints and assist in providing appropriate service recovery.
