Job summary

VTAS MANAGEMENT SDN BHD in Kuching seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at in-charge outlets and ensure smooth service in line with SOPs.

You will train and coach service staff, monitor performance and discipline, maintain cleanliness, and manage weekend/public holiday staffing. This role requires local travel within supervised outlets.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated: Primary/Secondary School/SPM/Diploma/Advanced Higher.
• 1–2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Languages required: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English (added advantage).
• Preferably experience in Food & Beverage Chain/Restaurant Service is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations & ensure smooth operations on the respective outlets.
• Train, guide & coach service staff including counseling when required.
• Responsible for employees' performance & discipline.
• Ensure outlet activities are operated smoothly and according to SOPs.
• Upkeep of outlet cleanliness and hygiene standard.
• Perform other assignments as defined by Management.
• Must be able to travel within outlets under supervision and carry out ad-hoc duties.

Job Requirements for Restaurant Supervisor

• Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/Diploma/Advanced Higher.
• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for the position.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English (as added advantage)
• Preferably in Food & Beverage Chain/ Restaurant Service experience is an advantage.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Self-motivated with positive attitude.
• able to work on weekend & Public Holidays.
• Possess own transport
