Job summary

ibis in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on F&B Operations Supervisor to manage STREATS Bar & Café, ensuring excellent guest service, consistent food quality, and strong sales performance.

You will lead a diverse F&B team, coordinate with the Chef and other hotel departments, monitor costs and inventories, and uphold hygiene and safety standards while driving guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant/F&B operations, preferably in a hotel.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Guest-focused and able to handle complaints.
• Basic knowledge of F&B cost and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant, breakfast and bar operations.
• Ensure smooth and efficient guest service.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Conduct daily staff briefings and assign duties.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance.
• Train and coach F&B team members.
• Drive F&B sales through promotions and upselling.
• Monitor daily revenue and achieve monthly targets.
• Control food and beverage wastage and operating costs.
• Monitor stock, inventory and beverage consumption.
• Ensure correct POS transactions and cash handling.
• Work closely with the Chef to maintain food quality and smooth operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and hotel safety requirements.
• Support sustainability practices and reduce food waste.
• Prepare required F&B reports.

Job Description

Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager

Department: Food & Beverage

Job Purpose

To manage the daily operations of STREATS Bar & Café and ensure good service, satisfied guests, strong sales, cost control and a well-trained team.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant, breakfast and bar operations.
• Ensure smooth and efficient guest service.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Conduct daily staff briefings and assign duties.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance.
• Train and coach F&B team members.
• Ensure staff follow grooming and service standards.
• Drive F&B sales through promotions and upselling.
• Monitor daily revenue and achieve monthly targets.
• Control food and beverage wastage and operating costs.
• Monitor stock, inventory and beverage consumption.
• Ensure correct POS transactions and cash handling.
• Work closely with the Chef to maintain food quality and smooth operations.
• Ensure restaurant, bar and buffet areas are clean and presentable.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and hotel safety requirements.
• Support sustainability practices and reduce food waste.
• Prepare required F&B reports.
• Work closely with other hotel departments.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.
